i just discovered an old photograph of our pumpkins, their tops splashed in white hats from an early snowfall. we leave a grouping placed near our doorway through mid november. soon we'll be visiting the pumpkin patch, buying a bale of hay, choosing beautiful gourds, and preparing our courtyard for those costumed trick or treaters!
