Those are woods with darkness down through the trees...it reminds me of Frost's "woods are dark and deep" with promises to keep. Lovely photo with those promises.
Another wonderfully mysterious photo dear Cate :) I love those woods, and the little one "on the edge" as if deciding whether to enter or not... It says to much...
