At 6-8 inches, now I see the snow blowing as your photo shows. But I can't get out in it to take photos...yet. All the walks and parking lot are still covered here...and I don't think my snow boots are quite high enough to traipse through the snow. More is expected this morning, as well as lots of wind. Yay to storm Izzy. We'll just remember these days for a while.

Reminds me of my youth and the snow we used to get when I was growing up in just outside the gate of the Rocky Mountain National Forest.

Oh what lovely snow! Reminds me of the snows we got growing up in New England, when we'd get Nor'easters and three feet of snow with 6 foot drifts. I live in sunny Colorado now - going through yet another severe drought this winter (although the mountains are getting good snow). I miss the big snow! :)

Tabor - is that in Estes Park?
