Sunday, Saying Yes to the World

When the journey you are presently on seems to be over, remember that there is no real end. There may be new journeys ahead; there may be journeys-within-journeys.  There is always something new to learn, always another gift to be be brought out into the world. Embrace each new cycle; welcome every twist and turn. It is how we know we are alive.

Gorgeous photo! I *love* those woods! And just the words I needed to "hear"/read this morning... "journeys-within-journeys" and "new gifts to bring into the world." I've been working on those since July - but the inner voice keeps saying "wait"... Thank you for these inspiring words - and your gift of photography :). Now maybe I can go back to bed and get some sleep, dreaming of new journeys - while you have already awoken to a new day... _/\_

Journeys within journeys is a good philosophy. Beautiful winter woodlands.

Happy Solstice! (Whether today or tomorrow). I've been meditating also on endings and beginnings...the flow of everything that really never ends or begins. We like our stories and poems to have endings...but there are many that just leave you looking into another turn of the story. May your wonderful inspiration continue around the world, just as a whiff of air from the smoke of the flame of a cauldron or candle has the butterfly effect.
