Little Red Lanterns

Chinese Lanterns
The sumptuous reds, oranges, golds, faded greens and rich creams of Chinese Lanterns are a treat for the eyes in late October.

Whenever I encounter a bin in my travels, they grab my attention.  Time stands still - I hover like a fool with my hands clasped together and stare.

What a rare treat such things are in these dark and waning days of the tenth moon, the passing of another calendar year in the great wide world.  Emaho!
