Seems way too soon. But it is what it is.

Way too soon indeed, Tabor, but the drought here is really affecting our trees, and they are turning far too early in the season.

Your trees have such rich color despite the drought! The trees here in our mountain ranges are turning just as quickly as yours. Near where we are they are yellowing a bit and I imagine they will turn much earlier as well... I hope they will be as brilliant as yours...

It’s still my favorite season, come early or late. I know what you are saying. I'm going to enjoy however many I have left. Gratitude. Beautiful, Cate.

Nothing turning in my woods as of yet. Everything was different this year and wonder what is in store here by the woods.
Your trees are beautiful.
