Great photo.

I like the sturdy picnic table. I like the shadow twigs on the snow.

The snow is pretty, deep, and it is time for it to melt.

Happy day!

Thinking of picnics?

This picture evokes a lot here... Reminds me of "emergence"; of things being found exactly where you left them, they were only hidden from sight; the play between permanence and impermanence; and of course how everything hidden is revealed by the Light... Or maybe that's too much interpretation :)

Thank you for these contemplative moments... Christine

Many picnics to come. Dream on in the meantime.

Cate, in the Southern Hemisphere we are beginning the transition to Autumn. It has been an extraordinary Summer with just two days at 40C, a lot of rain and humidity. There have floods in the country which are still drawing out, with nowhere for the water to go. Our neighbours to the south have suffered major earthquakes.

Today it is raining again and the light is mellow. The simplicity of your image makes me draw breath and go in search of something similar.

Amazing how just the smallest hint of summer times makes this photo seem warm.
