I've never lived near Lilacs so don't have the fond memories so many folks have. But I must say, these are the most vivid ones in your photos. I think of them almost white in their paleness sometimes, and of course some are actually whites. These are a pink, which I've never seen.
I do miss lilacs...mostly the smell. My mother used to grow them. I am not successful in growing them here.
