Love this photo. Not only is it my favorite fruit, I painted my kitchen cabinets pomegranate red some years back. In my elementary school, the 6th grade presented a play about Demeter, Proserpina et al, and I went home and asked my mother what a pomegranate was. She bought one and I have loved them ever since.
