Our wild orchids were late blooming this year, Tabor. Winter stayed around forever, and spring (when it finally arrived) was very very WET. We were so happy when we found they were blooming at long last.
It's been years since I've seen a Lady Slipper! Since I moved away from New England and came to Colorado 40 years ago. Don't even know if they grow out here... Beautiful!
