Finally on my way to yes
I bump into
all the places
where I said no
to my life
all the untended wounds
the red and purple scars
those hieroglyphs of pain
carved into my skin, my bones,
those coded messages
that send me down
the wrong street
again and again
where I find them
the old wounds
the old misdirections
and I lift them
one by one
close to my heart
and I say holy
holy.
This is the morning after a massive hit of chemo, Tabor, and the poem felt just right. I need every scrap of strength and stamina I can wrap my arms around, also a few barge loads of patience.
I love the poem... the embracing of it all... What else can one do... Like the leaf in your photo, you are embraced too - held - while you go through this by the unseen and by many loving thoughts from the Heart... <3
Well, that is an emotive poem to ponder! Lovely photo collage.
