This is a reminder of my scenes as a child. We did not have double paned windows and the ice would form on all the windows. We lived in the Rocky Mountains and it got so cold in the winter. What a lovely reminder.
I remember frost like that on my bedroom window when I lived in northern Utah twenty years ago. A frozen world stood outside, while I stayed all cozy warm inside.
Sigh... :)

ReplyDeleteThe window of my friend's old log farmhouse in the Lanark highlands, Tabor. Its windows are just amazing and never the same two days running!
