  2. These lovely images make me long for the weather here to turn, and the cool autumn days to arrive. I think it's time for a trip to my favorite orchard to pick out a few pumpkins of my own!

  5. Omphalos as in the Greek myths about the center of the earth, Zeus and his sacred stones and Queen Omphale? I like it very much. If I remember correctly, one of the omphalos (or world navel) stones was at Delphi.
