I just couldn't resist (LOL). My neighbour with the whirly thingy grows a spectacular crop of sunflowers in his garden, and he is a bit morose this year - says it will be months before he sees sunflowers through his kitchen window and he had to do SOMETHING.
Sometimes you just have to give nature a helping hand
