I r...Mmm, I can almost taste that clear sweet sap. I remember tasting it as a child with absolute wonder that such sweetness rose out of the earth and up through a tree. I wish we had been ready to tap our trees on the farm this year. This is still a new venture (our first winter here) and there is SO much to do.
