Cate ~ You have given me some melancholy moments with this photo remembering growing up in New England, riding the school bus, or in the car, on rainy days looking out the window through the rain drops to scenes similar to this... Very soothing and comforting actually. I miss this kind of scenery and rain!

We went for so long without much rain, and without the dramatic cloud signatures of rain, that I find the Canadian landscape fascinating. I can see the clouds through the raindrops on the glass, hovering amongst the trees - it seems. The landscape yo describe regularly is so green and beautiful as a matter of course whereas I come from a drier, dustier environment. We have just through come the wettest summer in a century and it seems like magic! This is a lovely picture, Cate, and your windows are cleaner than ours :).
