Edges

The elegantly scalloped edges of a skim of ice where it meets puddle and lane in front of the little blue house in the village... They remind me of the waves and wind and the sea, of thunderstorms and blustery spring days. They remind me of maps and broderie anglaise and the billowing foam on a good mug of hot chocolate.

Such a luscious, gorgeous picture. I enjoyed the playful word images, too.

Every day is a treat here in Cate's Fields.

Thank you!

Wow. Gorgeous! I finally got around to responding to your book lover's meme from March 1. I was reluctant, but I'm glad you challenged me.

Oh that is beautiful, again, your words and photos. You are a poet in all ways.
